GANDALL'S STORY - $2,500 REWARD
Click on the SUBMIT A TIP button - BE SURE TO SAY WHICH CASE YOU ARE REPORTING ON.
Hi, my name is Gandall and I wanna share my story, and tell you why my hooman friend is asking for your help. A few months ago, the people I thought loved me drove me far away, got me out of the car, and left me. I thought, “Wait, what’s happening?” and told myself, “Oh, they accidentally forgot me,” but they never came back. I was soooo scared. I had never been on my own. Thankfully, a nice lady who lived in the area would put food and water out for me. I would stop by to get something to eat and drink while I walked around trying to figure things out. Then, one day, on one of my walks, I found myself in a scary situation! It surprised me because suddenly, I felt like something just stung me on my backside!! Man, it HURT! I was so confused and didn’t know what was happening, so I went to the house where I knew I would be safe, and I laid on her porch til she got home. When she came home, she knew something was wrong with me, so she called her friends, who came over and took me to the doctor. The doctor told me someone shot me with a pellet gun. I don’t know what a pellet gun is, but I knew whoever shot me, meant to do it and to hurt me. I mean, I’m a pretty smart dog.So, the doctor got me healed up and the nice people at animal control told me they would help me find a forever family. I couldn’t wait, so I agreed to let them dress me up in bunny ears for Easter, and I showed off my teeths as best as I could. And Boy, the best thing happened…..I found my new family and am so grateful to everyone who helped me. So, this is where my sweet hooman friend comes in. She is concerned that someone in the area of South County Rd 1213 and West County Road 185 is intentionally being cruel to animals, and that’s a crime. So, if you have any information about who may have done this to me, please call Crime Stoppers at 694-TIPS or use www.694tips.com. You always remain anonymous and if investigators receive information that leads them to file charges and an arrest is made, you will earn a cash reward. She has privately donated $2,000, and Crime Stoppers is offering a $500 reward (total of $2,500) for information that leads to animal cruelty charges filed and an arrest made for the person responsible in my case. My nice hooman was able to help me in my situation. But I know so many other animals go through abuse even worse than me, so I hope my story can help bring awareness that intentionally abusing an animal is a crime, so don’t do it. If you have information about animal cruelty, you can make an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers at 694-TIPS, use the mobile app P3 TIPS, or visit www.694tips.com so that the police can check on it and see if there is a crime happening. *REWARD ELIGIBILITY—A tip must be submitted via the Crime Stoppers hotline, website, or mobile app, and law enforcement must act on it, leading to charges filed and an arrest made. No other avenues of reporting are eligible.
